SPECIAL ADVISER, POLITICAL RECEIVES PDPDECAMPEES FROM MOBA AND ILEJEMEJE LOCAL GOVERNMENT
No fewer than five stakeholders and supporters of the people Democratic party, PDP APC, in moba ana ilejemeje Council Area, have dumped their party for the ruling party in the State, the All progressive Congress, APC
The stakeholders, comprising of the people democratic party PDP Ward Vice Chairmen who incidentally is the PDP Ward Chairmen Forum, in mobaand the PDP Non-indigenes Coordinator, also in ilejemeje
Others include the moba Immediately past member of Ekiti state House of Assembly, Hon. Badejo Anifowose and Former supervisor Hon. Odunayo and Hon. Balogun Idowu. Mr akinwumi taiwo, Mr Omoyajowo Taiwo, Rotimi Ajide, zacheus precious,Hon. omoja Femi Peter, Mr Ogunleye Tunde, led by high Chief Agboola Samson Akinbami, were all at the office of the Special Adviser to the Governor on Political Matters, to officially announce their defection to the APC.
Speaking on behalf of the decampees, an PDP chieftain, Hon. Badejo Anifowose aid the need to join handa with the prosperity administration in delivering the dividends of democracy to ekiti, informed their decision to dump their respective parties to the ruling party.
Hon Anifowose further lauded the modest achievements recorded so far, especially in the areas of salaries and gratuities payment both at the State and Local level, and the curbing of insecurity in ekiti, as other reasons why they are jumping the ship, as it was needless criticizing a government that is empowering the ekiti people.
They expressed their relief that the stronghold of the opposition parties have defected, as it would help mobilise more support at the grassroot, at future elections, and pave way for a landslide victory.
Receiving the decampees into the All progressive Congress in the state, Special Adviser on Political Matters, Chief (Hon.) David Olusoga , gave them thumbs up for retracing their steps, and charged them to key into his mission of winding down other parties in the State.
